This document is provided in English for your convenience. The English and Greek versions are the authoritative texts; for consumers resident in Greece the Greek version prevails in case of any discrepancy.

This Legal Notice provides the information about the provider of the MyBeachApp application and website required under the EU e-Commerce framework, the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) and Greek Law 2251/1994 on consumer protection.

Breukers Willem Albertus E.E. ("we", "us", "our", or the "Provider") operates the MyBeachApp mobile application, distributed on the Apple App Store and Google Play under the identifier `io.mybeachapp.mobile`, and the associated website.

Responsible for the content of the application and website is Breukers Willem Albertus E.E., at the registered office stated above. For any request relating to this Legal Notice you can reach us at [email protected].

3. Digital Services Act contact point

Under Articles 11 and 12 of the Digital Services Act, the single point of contact for authorities and for recipients of the service is [email protected]. Communications may be made in English or Greek.

4. Supervisory and dispute-resolution bodies

Depending on the subject matter, the following authorities are competent:

The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was permanently discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available. Consumers should instead contact the competent alternative dispute resolution body listed above.

5. Intellectual property and third-party data

The MyBeachApp name, logo, user interface and original content are protected by intellectual-property rights and belong to the Provider or its licensors. The application relies on open and third-party data sources, which remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their licences:

  • Map and coastline data: © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL).
  • Weather and marine forecasts: Open-Meteo, used under its open-data licence (CC BY 4.0).
  • Places and points of interest: Google Maps Platform, subject to Google's terms.

6. Accessibility

We are committed to making MyBeachApp usable by everyone and design towards the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and the harmonised standard EN 301 549 (WCAG 2.1 AA). If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us so we can help and improve.
